April!

So, on the eve of June, I've finally decided I need to get caught up from the month of April. It was one of those months that was full every weekend, but fabulous nonetheless! The first weekend we were invited to a cookout with old friends from Cayden's MDO class last year. It seems that this year we all went in different directions, but yet, we're still close enough to occasionally hang out. It was such a great year that year, (2 year olds) and some of our dearest friends were made from that class year. This year in his new class, not so much. I promise there were adults here at the party, but we were too busy chatting for pictures and the kids were playing so well together. It was like a park in their back yard!

Cayden, the man of the house!

Mck and Gracie, our sweet little friend

Asher and Cayden...old buddies

The following weekend was Jamie's bridal shower in Houston. It's always so fun when we're all together!

There's something special about that bottle of wine...don't know what

We've all been friends since high school and some since junior high

Next comes Easter!! It was kinda our first year to celebrate since last year both kiddos were sick and the year before Mck was just a couple weeks old. What an exciting day! The kids woke up to their Easter baskets with a small array of goodies. Mck thinks her sitting spot is always on top of the coffee table.

cheesy smile!

After church, we headed over to a friend's house for the biggest egg hung I've ever seen, some yummy food and good company.

Mr. Ken giving Cayden a pep talk, and Audrey eating grass :)

looking at a bug together...that's special

And last comes Emily's bridal shower. It was a particularly good weekend for me b/c I got to go alone to Tomball and spend time with my family and mom. It was full of good times eating out and shopping. My favorite!!

Rockin the game - such a great sport Emily!

Mom made her a party veil that she wore during the shower...and later at her bachelorette party!
