Kaitlyn's 1st birthday party!

Corey and I loaded the van and headed to Pearland. We stayed with his dad whom we hadn't seen in several months. Plus, with our growing family, we hadn't stayed there in over a year, so we thought they were due for a visit. While we were there, Mckinley and I attended Kaitlyn's 1st birthday party. Our girls are only 5 weeks apart and I look forward to seeing the girls become sweet friends like Crystal and I! Happy 1st birthday Kaitlyn!!!

Matthew's UT Rugby Game

One Saturday in February, we dropped off Mckinley at Corey's brother's house so we could venture to Austin for Matt's Rugby game. We knew we'd have to skip Cayden's nap, but it was a price we were willing to pay. Besides, Matt is due to graduate in May (we all have our fingers crossed) and me being the terrible sister that I am, have never seen him play rugby. They played A&M that day, and frankly, they dominated us and we didn't score once. Whatever. Cayden loved having the freedom of running around and the day was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time just hanging out watching the game. Who cares that we had absolutely no idea what was happening. It was the sweetest picture to see Cayden running into the field to greet his Uncle Matthew after his game. It was a fabulous day!

I forget what this is called..."the huddle?"

Sesame Street Live!!

Corey and I took the kids to see Sesame Street Live! Although I don't remember if I ever went, it seems to be a right of passage for kids these days. Sesame Street is seen on our TV nearly every morning during the hustle and bustle of our morning routine. For whatever reason, the characters completely amuse Cayden and he's fallen in love with each character...as most toddlers do. We went on a Saturday morning and took Mckinley with us despite it being during her nap time. She too was fascinated by it all, although towards the end, she naturally began to get tired and fussy. I loved seeing Cayden's joy and excitement! Here are a couple of shots of our adventure!
