Mckinley's birthday party

I know this is literally "so last month" but it'd only be fair to include Mckinley's sweet birthday party in our blog. As I was planning the party, my first concern was the weather. Since it was planned at a park outdoors, we had no other choice than to be at the weather's mercy whether it was going to be a good party or a wet party. Luckily, the weather was perfect and we had no rain! Next, Mck wasn't walking yet, so I had to find a way or place to put her so she wasn't crawling all over the ground. Although it's nice to think that you'd want to hold her and squeeze her the whole time, it just isn't practical. So, I brought what we call "the circus" and she was able to play in that in between squeezes.

Many of our friends and family were able to come and celebrate Mck's birthday. The party was complete with hamburgers, hotdogs, bubbles and the playground. It was easy and stress-free. What a great day! Happy Birthday sweet baby girl!

A week in Tomball

The week before Mckinley's birthday party, we (and I mean myself and the kids) spent time in Tomball with my mom. She too had the week off and boy were we busy. The first night we met up with my sweet girlfriends and our combined 6 children. I thought we were crazy being outnumbered by the kids, but things went rather smoothly and we had lots of laughs. I look forward to many more 'adventures' with them.

Our kiddos at the restaurant: Wesley, Lizzie, Mckinley, Harrison, Jaqi and Cayden. I think I was a little stressed out, but Keri totally balanced me out; she's more easy going than I. :)

Adorable Cayden

Lovin' the rolls

Cayden was here too for the picture, but he was big enough to fight against having to sit with the Easter bunny. Mckinley on the otherhand, couldn't escape. :)

These are the kinds of pictures that melt your heart when you see daddys with their babies. Love these two.
